Walmart and Sam’s Club ‘Fight Hunger. Spark Change.’ campaign kicks off 20 years of partnership with Feeding America

Now in its 12th year, the annual marketing campaign of the causes has helped feed the America® partner banks to obtain more than 2 billion meals * for people faced with hunger in local communities.

CHICAGO,, February 28, 2025 / Prnewswire / – For the 12th consecutive year, all the locations of us Walmart and Sam’s Club team with their customers, members, suppliers and associates for combat hunger. Change of sparks. Campaign to support the Feeding America network of partner food banks.

The annual donation campaign, the race March 1-31Launches a celebration of 20 years of partnership between Walmart, Sam’s Club and Feeding America which has become one of the most transformative collaborations in the Hunger Rescue Space – with approximately $ 271 million in donations – including more than $ 177 million of the company and the Walmart Foundation and almost $ 95 million customers and members. Walmart and Sam’s Club have also donated more than 9 billion books of food to the Feeding America network of local food banks and partner agencies since 2006.

Combat hunger. Change of sparks. The campaign will take place online and in stores March 1, March 31. Buyers have three easy ways to support people faced with hunger:

  • For each participating product purchased in store or online on Walmart.com or Samsclub.com, the supplier will donate the monetary equivalent of at least one meal * ($ 0.10) On behalf of a Feding Food Bank America Partner in Walmart and five meals * ($ 0.50) At Sam’s Club, up to the applicable limits.   • Donate to the checkout in stores or clubs or online on Walmart.com and the Walmart application.

During the campaign, all donations remain local. Donations of suppliers activated by sales and register donations are directed to a food for feeding America America food in a store or club community. Since its creation in 2014, the campaign has contributed to obtaining nearly 2 billion meals * for people faced with hunger.
