Crave Cure Kitchen, an online order company only located at 1933 S. Alex Road in West Carrollton, should open in mid-July or August. The restaurant will operate 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. daily.

“It will be a concept of fast food,” said Moss. “I want to be practical for people like when someone leaves a bar or leaving work, I want them to be able to place the order and when they reach me, it would be almost done.”

What to expect

Customers can expect articles on the menu such as hand-bored chicken pieces with homemade sauces, a BLT submarine, fried chicken sandwiches and other fried foods.

Moss plans to offer house options like a game on chicken and dumplings and cabbage rolls.

Crave Cure Kitchen will have eight to 12 shared desserts and specialized drinks like a virgin Bloody Mary with additional green olives or a Shirley temple with 10 cherries.

Before the opening, the duo will make a test kitchen in May or June to finalize their menu.

Offer free delivery to local bars

The restaurant plans to collaborate with local bars in the region to offer free delivery from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

This idea comes from the fact that Moss is a pool player and knowing that many people spend work in bars to participate in the pool or dart leagues.

“In a radius of a few miles, we have so many bars and no food,” said Moss. “This area is a large region. Everyone

supports local businesses. »»

They locked up local bars such as Bojangles Nightclub, Miami Valley Sports Bar and Spparky’s Lounge.

It hopes to add more and is open to collaborate with any company within a radius of two miles which is open late or that employees work late.

“The late evening food options have dropped from Covid,” said Moss.

A career in the food and drinks scene

Moss, a graduate of Belmont High School in 1994, began his career in the food and drinking scene at 14, working at Arlo’s Pizza next to the Dot market on Patterson Road in Kettering.

At 16, she started working at Taco Bell and was promoted to director at 23.

“As a young single mother, I have always worked these 40 at 50 hours – whether fast food or the bartender,” said Moss.

In the middle of the twenty, she started the bartender at the Airway Billard Bar & Grill. Over the past 10 years, she has worked in Hollywood Gaming in Dayton Raceway.

She remembers having interviewed for her current Barman job and told them that she wanted to open her own bar / billiard room.

“Over the years, I decided that I wanted to go away from the bar industry in a way,” said Moss. “I just think that with my fast food experience, it would be a better business right now.”

His daughter has 13 years of experience in the food and drinks industry and, at some point, they worked together at Airway Billard.

Heal people’s desires

Moss highlighted the importance of high standards and to offer their customers a high -quality food and service.

“I just think that making the stomachs of happy people is so satisfactory,” said Moss.

She is looking forward to being part of the community and hopes to associate with local schools for fundraising.

In addition, she thinks that their concept is fun and wants to team up with local bars to make events or sponsor swimming pool tournaments.

If all is well with this place, the duo hopes to open a few other restaurants in the Dayton region.
