Liberty University students pack meals for Haiti

Lynchburg, go. (WDBJ) – Students of Liberty University help make meals for children and families in need in Haiti.

About 1,400 students signed up for two -hour locations and are expected to prepare nearly 300,000 meals.

This occurs because more than five million Haitians need emergency food assistance.

“We have such a big team, and our goal is to serve our students with coco-added experiences t

hat help them dive into the needs of other people in the world, and in this case, they do not have a passport and to visit the Nation of Haiti, they can do something as simple as to present themselves where they go to school and give back with their time.” said the main director of Lu Service Steven Gillum.

The event was organized in cooperation between Lu Service, feeding my hungry children, hope mission and world help.
