Loveland’s Community Kitchen Celebrates 3,000 Days of Meal Service

Volunteers and local donors keep the mission alive for more than 8 years

Loveland, CO – March 10, 2025 – in a milestone that says a lot about the strength of community support, LOVELAND community cuisine I’m going to celebrate 3,000 consecutive days of meal service on March 14, 2025. For more than eight years, the kitchen has ensured that no one in Loveland is hungry, providing daily meals without interruption – chronology, snow or the sun.

This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication of volunteers, donors and local partners which have made it possible to serve thousands of people, families faced with difficulties for the elderly, veterans and those who know homelessness.

A meal that means more

More than food, the community cooking of Loveland offers Hope, dignity and connection. Each meal is a chance to bring people together, promote the community and give access to the essential resources that help individuals find stability.

The impact of the kitchen goes beyond the numbers. Many guests have shared sincere stories about how a hot meal helped them in their most difficult times. A former guest, now used and housed, wrote:

“Community cooking is a lifeline. So many times, I was hungry and I had no food or money. Now, even if I am hosted and work, I still have trouble after paying the bills and the rent. Meals here help me stay healthy and move forward. »»

Honor 3,000 days of service
