5 Easy 3-Ingredient Dinners from Trader Joe’s

If you are looking for easy meal ideas, I hear you. As a dietitian, chief and developer of recorded recipes, I have done work in my life to offer recipes that feed and nourish. I know, however, that it is not enough. Food must also taste good. That’s why I like Trader Joe’s. With a range of sauces and condiments, prepared and fresh foods, there are literally hundreds of options to create delicious nourishing meals!

Here are five of my inspiration mini-hosts inspired by a favorite trader Joe. They are important on nutrition and flavor. And with only three ingredients, these “recipes” meet in 15 minutes or less. They are therefore a breeze to do!

Gnocchi with pesto

One of the first products I never bought at Trader Joe’s was their gnocchi. And since then, it is a staple food in my pantry. This “pasta” based on potatoes helps me to create a variety of nutritious and delicious meals, including this one with their curly cabbage, their cashews and their basil pesto and their fresh bags in bag.

The recipe: Cook the gnocchi according to the instructions of the packaging. Drain the gnocchi and return to the pot. Incorporate ½ cup of pesto and 1 (6 ounces) spinach bag. Cover and steam from the heat until the spinach is just withered, 3 to 5 minutes. Make 4 portions.

When I don’t want to cook, Wraps are one of my Go-Tos. They are easy and fully customizable. This version begins with the whole wheat tortillas of Trader Joe, which is a robust base for the tuna and Caesar salad.

The recipe: Drain 1 (3 ounces) pocket tuna; Take off in an average bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of Caesar vinaigrette from the salad kit; Mix gently to combine. Add half of the CAESAR salad mixture plus 2 more tablespoons with tablespoons. Mix until the lettuce is well coated. Divide the mixture between 2 tortillas. Roll each tortilla in an envelope and cut in half. Make 2 portions

When I want something light and fresh, I always think of fish. The branzino fruits of trader joe cook quickly and are delicious with their Greek chickpea and to spread whipped save.

The recipe: Dégulate 4 branzino nets. Patzez dry and place on a baking sheet at the edge of parchment. Cover with 1 chickpeas, including their liquid. Bake at 375 ° F until the fish is cooked and easily with a fork, from 12 to 15 minutes. Garnish with whitled feta spoonfuls. Make 4 portions.

The waffles ‘Brinner’

In my house, breakfast for dinner is always a victory, especially if it involves waffles (we affectionately call it “strand”). Whoever is always a home run is the whole grain waffles of trader Joe garnished with their creamy Greek yogurt rich in protein and their lyophilized raspberries, which I like to collapse on top. A small honey net adds an additional ingredient, but it’s a nice final touch if you have it!

The recipe: Toast 4 whole grains waffles. Place 2 service plates. Transfer 2 waffles to each plate, arranging them in a battery. Garnish each battery with 2 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt and ¼ cup of lyophilized, whole or crushed raspberry or a combination! Make 2 portions.

Jicama bowls with chicken at the center

For a fun dinner, rich in protein and crunchy, I will take a jaicama jaicama salad container of trader Joe, a box of chicken pulled in frozen hardwood and a bag of peanuts! It’s an excellent meal “at any time”, but it is also fun to bring parties and barbecues!

The recipe: Reheat the chicken drawn according to the packaging instructions; cool slightly. While the chicken heats up, prepare the cabbage salad by combining all the container ingredients, including the vinaigrette, in a large service bowl. Add the cooled chicken and mix well. Garnish ½ cup of peanuts. Make 4 portions.
